Clear steps. Considered decisions.

Our Interior Design Process

Every property is different, but a useful process makes the next step easier to understand. Here is the working path we use to discuss design and execution, with the exact stages confirmed in your proposal.

Proposed workflow · project-specific stages apply

  1. 01 / Discover your needs

Start with your property, your priorities and what you would like to change. We discuss the location, current condition, intended use and your budget direction. References, photographs and available floor plans help clarify the conversation.

A free design consultation is the first enquiry step. A site visit can be arranged where appropriate, with access and timing confirmed in advance.

  2. 02 / Develop the design direction

Explore the layout, mood and materials that suit the brief. The design stage connects visual character with practical needs such as storage, circulation and furniture proportions.

The proposal establishes which plans, visual studies and selections are included. Review stages and decisions should be clear so you know what needs feedback before the project moves forward.

  3. 03 / Define the scope and plan

Bring the design and execution requirements into an agreed scope. This includes the proposed work, selected materials, exclusions, responsibilities and commercial terms.

Confirm any applicable site requirements, specialist services and approval responsibilities. The programme and procurement decisions should reflect these dependencies rather than relying on a generic delivery promise.

  4. 04 / Execute the agreed work

Once the relevant decisions and requirements are in place, progress the agreed execution scope. Materials, access and sequencing need to support the plan.

Keep significant decisions and changes documented. Any variation to the work, cost or timing should be discussed and recorded so everyone understands what has changed.

  5. 05 / Review the final details

Review the completed scope together and record any agreed items requiring follow-up. Handover information depends on the work and should be identified in the proposal.

A clear review closes the loop between the brief, the approved direction and what has been delivered. Any aftercare or warranty terms must be confirmed in writing for the particular project.

Questions about our design process

No. These are the main discussion stages. The deliverables, review points and sequence are confirmed for the project in its proposal.

Bring your location, property type, priorities and any photographs or floor plans. References, a budget direction and target timing also help.

Commercial terms are confirmed around an agreed scope and specifications. An early discussion alone is not a final quotation.

Changes should be discussed and recorded with their effect on scope, cost and timing. The project agreement establishes the specific variation process.

Any aftercare, follow-up or warranty terms must be stated in the project agreement. This website does not promise a universal aftercare package.
